Funding to Hope Note Hate (GLA)
Dear Greater London Authority,
Following two clarification requests and my receiving neither an acknowledgment nor a reply, I am forced to submit a separate FOI request to clarify your answer.
You had previously responded to my FOI request* that you hold no information regarding any GLA 'funding' to the organisation Hope Note Hate Ltd nor its legal offshoots.
I now request any information from your organisation on whether the GLA has made ANY payments of any kind, for example for services rendered or for any other reason to this organisation or its legal offshoots.
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Green

Subject: Freedom of Information request - Funding to Hope Note Hate
(GLA)
Thank you for contacting us about the work of the Mayor and/or City Hall.
We aim to respond to written communication as quickly as possible and
within 20 working days.
However, please note that we may not reply to correspondence we consider:
• Is addressed to another party and where the Mayor has been copied-in for
information only.
• Contains comments that do not require a response.
• Includes unsolicited job applications or CVs.
• Is trying to sell or market a product.
• To be vexatious or contains abusive or discriminatory language.
In addition, we will not respond where we specifically state that we are
unable to enter into correspondence (for example, when inviting responses
to consultation documents).
If you have written to request the release of information under the
Freedom of Information Act (FoIA) or Environmental Information Regulations
(EIR), please take this message as confirmation your request has been
received. We will aim to provide a response within the statutory 20
working day deadline.
Further information on our service standards, is available on our website

Thank you again for writing.
Yours sincerely,
Public Liaison Unit

Dear Stephen
Thank you for your further request.
You submitted an FOI to the GLA on 18 December 2023 and we responded to
your request on 5 January 2024 and you have marked that request as
closed: [1]Funding to Hope Note Hate (GLA) - a Freedom of Information
request to Greater London Authority - WhatDoTheyKnow
I have checked the link that you provided below and that request is not to
the GLA - it is to a different public authority. Although the GLA and
MOPAC are closely linked, they are separate Public Authorities for the
purposes of The Freedom of Information Act 2000, as per schedule 1 of the
Act. It does appear that they have responded to you and I cannot see any
clarification requests stemming from their response to you nor have we
received any further correspondence from you.
We do publish all GLA payments over £250.00 on our website. You can browse
these payments here (you can search for any organisation that you have an
interest in): [2]Our spending | London City Hall
I hope this is useful to you.
Yours sincerely
Information Governance Officer
