Dear Welsh Government,

I note with interest your announcement on 10th October 2013 that you have made a grant of £156,690 to NewLaw for the expansion of that firm.

Please could you provide a copy of your State aid assessment of this aid which explains either why the support does not constitute State aid or alternatively identifies the exemption or notification on which you are relying in support of a finding that the support is lawful.

Yours faithfully,

S Griffiths

ES&T - FOI, Welsh Government
