I refer to your recent FOI request and would answer on behalf of the University as follows:-

In relation to question one on monies possibly received from the specified companies, I would confirm that this is a nil response.

In relation to question two on the numbers of graduates gaining employment broken down by employment sector, for the last 5 years requested as an Excel spreadsheet, I attach the relevant information. Please note that this information has been taken from the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education survey. Only data for respondents who indicated they were in employment on the relevant date has been included. Please note that some of the responses required to be barnardised to protect the identity of the individuals and this has been done under s38(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information (S) Act 2002.

As the employment sector is not surveyed precisely we have supplied information on the nature of their employer’s exactly as it was provided to us by the respondent in the survey.
