Dear Sally,

I refer to your email of 26^th May 2023 to my colleague Ciaran.

Please accept my apologies for the response sent to you.  The response was
incorrectly worded and should have read ‘Nil response – no grants or other
funding has been provided by the Council to lesbian  projects or lesbian
organisations within the relevant timeframe’.  As you point out, the
previous response related to one particular department.  On review of all
other relevant departments, no grants or funding to lesbian projects or
organisations were identified.

This appears to mean that the Council never gives any kind of grant to
external organisations. Is that a correct reading, or does your response
apply to a particular department / departments?
