Dear Derbyshire County Council,
We have been trying to restore the North Entrance car park from Mansfield Road Corrbriggs to Grassmoor country park to the condition it was in before the area was used as a temporary access for the cleaning up of the polluted lagoons of the former avenue coke works. DCC promised to restore the area after this work was completed. Meanwhile they provided a new car park which was better than the prevision one at a cost to the rate payers, but unfortunately only applied for temporary planning permition for this work. After the work was completed DCC applied to themselves to keep the new car park but this was turned down. They have bulldozed the new car park but left the old one blocked by boulders. As a DCC rate payer I would like to know how much money DCC has spent on on building then removing the temporary car park, how much money has been spent on planning meetings, site meetings etc only to leave the public with a half blocked muddy patch to park in.
