Richard Parnham

Dear Oxfordshire County Council,

I believe that Oxfordshire County Council is currently bidding for external funding to installed new traffic filters (bus gates) in Oxford, extend the zero emmission zone and workplace parking levy.

Please provide me with the any documents which guide the council on its funding application for any / all of these schemes. i.e. if the funding applicaton guidance is provided to the council by the departement of transport, please provide me with this department of transport funding application guidence. if funding is provided by another body, which has funding application guidance available, please provide me with that.

Please also provide me with any Oxfordshire County Council documentation which sets out the council's preferred timeframe (or externally mandated timeline) for making the funding bid for any / all of above mentioned schemes.

In essence, i want to understand the criteria for making a funding bid for any / all of these schemes, and also OCCs timelines for making these funding bid (s).

Yours faithfully,

Richard Parnham

Dear Mr Parnham,

schemes.

In essence, I want to understand the criteria for making a funding bid for
any / all of these schemes, and also OCCs timelines for making these
funding bid (s).

Oxfordshire County Council has already applied for funding for the
proposed traffic filters (£3m) and zero emission zone (£970,000).  We have
not applied for funding to introduce the workplace parking levy and have
no immediate plans to do so.

The traffic filters formed part of Oxfordshire’s Bus Service Improvement
Plan (BSIP) funding bid to the Department for Transport (DfT).  In April
DfT announced an award of £12.7m BSIP funding for Oxfordshire.

In March Defra announced an award of £970,000 Air Quality Grant funding
for the expanded zero emission zone.

The funding guidance for both funds is attached.  These outline the
funding criteria.
