Dear Sam O'Hare,

Further to your request for information, we would be grateful for you to
clarify the following:

“We’re not clear on what the requestor is asking for when they say “all
information on funding”. This potentially could be a lot of documents.

Grateful if you narrow down your request to a specific timeframe, form of
communications etc”

Under Section 12 of the FOI Act, Exemption where cost of compliance
exceeds appropriate limit. U.K. (1)Section 1(1) does not oblige a public
authority to comply with a request for information if the authority
estimates that the cost of complying with the request would exceed the
appropriate limit.

We must advise you under Section 1(3) of the Freedom of Information Act
2000 we are under no obligation to comply with your request, until such
time as we receive clarification from you.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Information Rights Team,

thank you. I would like to ask for information on funding for the ZOE Health Study (which was called Covid app and Join Zoe at different time) from UKHSA/PHE and any email communication relating to this funding between January 2020 and May 2020.

I hope this clarifies the request. If the request regarding communication would exceed the appropriate limit, please provide data on funding only.

Yours sincerely,

Sam O'Hare
