Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,

I wrote and you acknowledge a FOI request into the plunder and theft of Malawi government funds by asking for a full copy(including names) of the audit report by Baker Tilly and any related correspondence, however you have not yet supplied the documents I have asked for. By law you should have supplied the information by 15 April, a thing you have failed to do, meaning you actions are outside of the law. They is a very strong public interest arguments as to why the full report should be released, most importantly as a large potion of the money swindled was from the British tax payer. I would greatly appreciate it if the information I have asked for was supplied to me as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,

Oliver Kingsley

Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Foreign and Commonwealth Office's handling of my FOI request 'Full Government audit report Malawi'.
By law a reply to my request is well overdue, under all circumstances ,I should have had a response by now, instead I have had delay after delay with no reason given. By now a public interest assessment should have been concluded and a decision made, this has not been the case, leading me to concluded that my request is potentially being delayed purposefully for one reason or another. The foreign and commonwealth office has a duty to the British tax payer to ensure that tax payer money is spend as intended, so do those that are recipients of British tax payers money in the form of aid and budgetary support. With the current debate in the media about foreign aid, surely you would agree with me, incases like these it is in the governments interest to be seen as being transparent and open, instead of acting in a manner that can easily be interpreted as trying to suppress information of acts of theft and abuse of British tax payer funds by a foreign government.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/f...
