Full dispersal scheme

Robert Toone made this Freedom of Information request to Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was refused by Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council.

Dear Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council,

Can you confirm that you are taking in African refugees under the Government's full dispersal scheme?
I understand that all council authorities are required to take these people in and note with interest that this definitely has been happening on some scale nationwide.
With massive estates such as Brinnington and Adswood there should surely be newly arrived immigrants being given housing.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Toone
