We're waiting for Alastair Lindsay to read a recent response and update the status.

Alastair Lindsay

Dear Westminster City Council,

Please could you confirm the full annual cost of producing the Westminster Reporter, broken down by production, print and distribution costs. Also could you confirm how many editions of this worthless rag do you produce each year?

Yours faithfully,

James Gilbert

Alastair Lindsay

Dear Westminster City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Westminster City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Full cost of producing The Westminster Reporter'.

I first put in a request on the 15th March for what I believe is a relatively simple request. It the took 14 days (the statutory maximum) before my request was 'claimed' to be received.

On the 27th March, I was offered a response date of 26th April by the Council.

On the 18th April I was notified by Whatdotheyknow that the statutory response date had been missed.

I have waited until the 27th April before writing to you to see if I received a response but none has been offered either through the site or directly.

As the Council has not responded within the 20 working day statutory requirement under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I will be writing to the Information Commissioners Officer to make a complaint. Please could I also request an internal review of this case by the Authority.

I would also like to understand if potentially politically sensitive FOI requests have been deliberately delayed or obstructed due to the proximity of the local elections?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/f...

Yours faithfully,

Alastair Lindsay
