Fulfilling eu state aids rules

Archie Riverdale made this Freedom of Information request to Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership
This authority is not subject to FOI law, so is not legally obliged to respond (details).
This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was successful.

Dear Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership,

Local Enterprise Partnerships are required to operate transparently, thereby giving the public confidence that decisions made are proper, based on evidence, and capable of being independently scrutinised. This includes fulfilling their legal obligations arising from distributing public money, such as checking that funding meets the EU state aid rules.

For every grant given by your organisation since 1st January 2013 please provide the name of the organisation who received funding, the amount, the date of any legal agreement and the way in which it met the legal requirement to be within the EU state aid rules.

Yours faithfully,

Archie Riverdale

LEP Enquiries, Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership

Dear Archie,

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request.

We have a published list of grants that Worcestershire LEP has given since the organisation's start date in 2010, which precedes your requested started date of 1st January 2013. You can find this link available on our website here http://www.wlep.co.uk/governance-2/struc... and the direct download here http://www.wlep.co.uk/assets/Project-App...

To view the grants that Worcestershire LEP have awarded to businesses, please refer to the Worcestershire Local Growth Fund projects in rows 37-62. All of these grants were completed through EU De Minimis State Aid Rules. This list includes the recipient of funding, the amount allocated and the date of full approval for the decision.

Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership has an Assurance Framework in place to ensure that the organisation operates transparently and fulfils all legal obligations, which can be viewed on the Governance & Transparency section of our website here: http://www.wlep.co.uk/governance-2/

Kind regards
Jack
