fulfilling Eu state aid rules

The request was successful.

Dear North East Local Enterprise Partnership,

Local Enterprise Partnerships are required to operate transparently, thereby giving the public confidence that decisions made are proper, based on evidence, and capable of being independently scrutinised. This includes fulfilling their legal obligations arising from distributing public money, such as checking that funding meets the EU state aid rules.

For every grant committed by your organisation since 1st January 2013 please provide the name of the organisation who received funding, the amount, the date of any legal agreement and the way in which it met the legal requirement to be within the EU state aid rules.

Yours faithfully,

Archie Riverdale
