Archie Riverdale made this Freedom of Information request to West of England Local Enterprise Partnership
This authority is not subject to FOI law, so is not legally obliged to respond (details).

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. Although not legally required to do so, we would have expected West of England Local Enterprise Partnership to have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear West of England Local Enterprise Partnership,

Local Enterprise Partnerships are required to operate transparently, thereby giving the public confidence that decisions made are proper, based on evidence, and capable of being independently scrutinised. This includes fulfilling their legal obligations arising from distributing public money, such as checking that funding meets the EU state aid rules.

For every grant committed by your organisation since 1st January 2013 please provide the name of the organisation who received funding, the amount, the date of any legal agreement and the way in which it met the legal requirement to be within the EU state aid rules.

Yours faithfully,

Archie Riverdale
