Fuel dumping
Dear Civil Aviation Authority,
I would like to make the following request under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I understand that all incidents of fuel jettison/dumping are expected to be reported to the CAA.
I also note the MATS guidelines that state that this should be done preferably over water, and at 10,000 feet agl.
Could you please tell me
1) How many incidents of fuel dumping occurred over land in each calendar year since 2014?
and
2) How many of those incidents occurred below 10,000 feet agl?
If for any reason this request exceeds the cost limits, I would ask you to narrow the request to include only such incidents as occurred over Greater London.
Yours faithfully,
Matthew Thompson
