Fuel and Light Subsidy RAF

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Royal Air Force should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Royal Air Force,

On the 24th of July 2012 I made the following request:

How many serivce personnel are on the Fuel and Light Subsidy
Scheme(FSS) at RAF Benson, RAF High Wycombe (including Air
Command)and RAF Brize Norton? This should be broken down by unit,
rank, type of property (SFA/SFA) and reason for FSS (building size,
fuel type ie oil/Liquified Petroleum Gas).

I am assuming there has been an error in the way you handle FOI requests. I am therefore asking the question again.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Jones

Dear DIO Sec-Group Mailbox (MULTIUSER),

Whilst I understand that DIO do not hold the information, the FOI was made TO the RAF. The Stations concerned are RAF bases and the intent was for the request to be dealt with by the RAF and not DIO.

I have asked previously for this information from the MOD, and it was passed to DIO who could not respond - hence my request from the RAF.

Might I suggest that this request be sent back to the RAF for action.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Jones

Dear DIO Sec-Group Mailbox (MULTIUSER),

There are serving members of the RAF in receipt of a Fuel and Light Subsidy at those bases. The Fuel Subsidy is administered by RAF individual RAF units. Therefore, the RAF must have information pertaining to this question.

Yours sincerely,

Robert Jones
