I write to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the full reports compiled by the FSA concerning American Candy Shop and Big Mouth in Colchester.

American Candy Shop, in St Botolph's Street, was inspected on 14/10/24 and Big Mouth on 09/10/24.

Thank you for contacting Colchester City Council with your Freedom of
Information request regarding: FSA Reports on American Candy Shop and Big
Mouth.

We do hold the information you have requested. However, under Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) guidelines the data you have requested is covered
by an exemption. Details of what this exemption is and comments from the
Officer managing your request are as follows:

S30 - Investigations and proceedings conducted by public authorities

 Thank you for your FOI request, how ever the council is currently working
with the businesses and has not yet reached a decision about be taking
formal legal action against them so we are not able therefore to share the
information.
