Frozen British Pensions

Nigel Nelson made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Work and Pensions

Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

Department for Work and Pensions did not have the information requested.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Can you please let me know:

a). How many staff are required to deal with Frozen British Pensions - those UK pensioners living in countries that are “frozen”?
b). How much has it cost the DWP year on year for the last five years to deal with Frozen British Pensions issues or questions?
c), If the UK were to unfreeze British State Pensions tomorrow, how much would the DWP save on an annual basis?

Yours faithfully,

Nigel Nelson

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Frozen British Pensions'.

I cannot believe that the DWP does not know the answers to my questions.

I would appreciate it if you can obtain answers to my questions…

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/f...

Yours faithfully,

Nigel Nelson
