Please see attached image. I have no means of ascertaining if any person received the Honour prior to 1905. The Recorders were officers of the Old Borough of Margate; Honours Boards record various functions. As Margate is a Charter Town and not a Town Council, since 1974, the Recorder position has been Honorary.
