1. How many people administer Freedom of Information (FOI) requests in the Council of Shetland Islands whether these are full-time or part-time roles; and what is the number of people answering those questions?

2. What is the website of all archive freedom of information requests and answers made to the Council of Shetland Islands?

Yours faithfully,

I refer to your request dated 2 May 2019, in which you asked for the
information set out in your email below.:

I can advise you that the Council is able to respond to your request, and
the information you have sought is as follows:

1. How many people administer Freedom of Information (FOI) requests in the
Council of Shetland Islands whether these are full-time or part-time
roles; and what is the number of people answering those questions?  The
Council has around 40 staff across 5 departments who are grouped as “FOI
Contacts”. These staff may carry out tasks associated with acknowledging,
logging and responding to queries as part of their normal duties, but no
staff are employed either full-time or part-time as FOI staff.

2. What is the website of all archive freedom of information requests and
answers made to the Council of Shetland Islands?

The Council does not currently publish any FOI requests or answers,
although the format and content of our website is currently under review.

I trust this meets the terms of your request.  However, if you are
dissatisfied with the way in which the Council has dealt with your request
for information on this occasion, then you may ask the authority to review
its actions and decisions in relation to your request, by submitting a
formal appeal to the Executive Manager - Governance and Law.  A leaflet
explaining this process is attached.

Regards
