Dear Scottish Government,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Scottish Government's handling of my FOI request 'Freedom of Information Request - Teaching in a Diverse Scotland Report'.

I am dissatisfied with the decision to redact significant amounts of information using the 'free and frank exchange of views' exemption under 30(b)ii of FOISA. It is my view that disclosure will not undermine the full and frank discussion of issues between individuals or the quality of advice provided by the working group, as the working group's report has been published and our request particularly concerned communication with external third party organisations, rather than internal civil service discussion.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/f...

Yours faithfully,

R McPhee

Scottish Government
