Dear Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust,
I would hereby like to submit a Freedom of Information request, regarding
the waiting list for the Northern Region Gender Dysphoria Service.
Could you kindly provide the following information:
1. The number of patients on the list as of June 2020
2. How many of these patients have been offered a first appointment.
3. How many of those who have had their first appointment, have been offered a second appointment.
4. How many new referrals since June 2020
5. If possible the average wait times between referral, first appointment and second appointment.
Yours faithfully,
C Case-Miller
Dear C Case-Miller,
Thank you for your email in which you have requested information under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. In order for the Trust to process your
request, we ask that you please provide some clarification.
Within Q1, you state “the number of patients on the list as of June 2020
2” and similarly in Q3, you state “How many new referrals since June 2020
5”. Please can you clarify the dates that your request concerns? Was this
an error in which you intended to say 2022 within Q1 and 2025 within Q3?
Or does this relate to specific dates i.e. the number of patients on the
waiting list as of the 2^nd of June 2020, and the number of referrals
since the 5^th of June 2020?
Once we receive this clarification from you, we will acknowledge your
request and provide a response within the 20 working day deadline.
Kind regards,
Information Governance and Medico Legal Team
