Dear FOI Team,
I am writing to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:
1. Consultant Numbers and On-Call Rota:
Between 2009 and 2014, how many full-time equivalent (FTE) Obstetric and Gynaecology consultants were employed at Rochdale Hospital (broken down by year, if possible)?
During this period, was the on-call rota for Obstetric and Gynaecology consultants shared with other Trusts? If yes, please specify the Trusts involved and provide details of the arrangement.
2. Litigation Claims by Department:
Within Rochdale Hospital, and later under the Northern Care Alliance (NCA), which department accounted for the highest percentage of litigation claims during the following time periods:
2009–2014
2015–2020
2021–2024
3. WHO Pre-Operative Checklist Compliance:
Please disclose the yearly compliance rates with the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) pre-operative checklist within Rochdale Hospital’s Obstetrics and Gynaecology service for the years
2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
4. Executive Attendance at Departmental Meetings:
From which date were Rochdale Hospital’s (and from 2021, the NCA’s) Executive Managers invited to attend front-line Monday morning departmental meetings within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology service?
