1. What Software Systems are currently used by the Council (please identify each system if more than one is used) for:
• Programme and / or Project management?
• Risk Management recording and reporting
• Performance Management reporting

2. When do the contracts expire for each software system used?

3. Do you have any planned changes or upgrades of the software currently used? If so, when?

4. How much does each system cost including both the initial licence fee and the annual charge?

The Council’s policy is to release information unless an exemption can be

1. What Software Systems are currently used by the Council (please

Answer – Clearview Systems Ltd. Modules purchased were strategy, project,
risk, performance scorecard and reporting

 

2. When do the contracts expire for each software system used?

Answer – Purchased in April 2017 for an agreed license period of 5 years

 

3. Do you have any planned changes or upgrades of the software currently
used? If so, when?

Answer – upgrades are part of the license agreement supplied by the
supplier. We do not have any planned changes

 

4. How much does each system cost including both the initial licence fee
and the annual charge?

Answer – purchased for £29,508 plus an annual license charge of £7,915 for
five years

 

5. If you do not have a system how are programmes and projects managed
currently?

Answer – In addition to Clearview, which is a simplified version for
projects, some teams may have single use license for Microsoft project for
more in-depth/complex projects

 

6. How (which procurement route or framework) was the contract initially
tendered and when was this tender awarded?

Answer – A dispensation was applied regarding procurement. Clearview
provided a unique functionality in relation to an automated interface with
a performance benchmarking system. ClearView was the only preferred
partner used by this performance benchmarking system supplier.  

 

7. If no software or tendered contract is in place currently are you
considering tendering or purchasing further software within the next 12
months? If so via which procurement route or framework would you be using?
N/A

 

8. How many users / licenses for each system have you purchased for each
system?

Answer – the fees are based on a population of 120,000, not the number of
users. The systems is accessible by all council staff.
