Dear Mr Harnon,
Thank you for your request for information received on 21^st January 2013. You requested:

“a list of all UK schools, with their address, email address, name of the head teacher, and
number of pupils please..”

I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and a  copy of the
information as held by the Department as at 22^nd January 2013 is attached.

I have prepared for you on an Excel spreadsheet –

A complete list of all Primary and Secondary Schools (including, LA Maintained, Independent,
Academies, CTCs, Free Schools, Studio Schools and UTCs) with addresses, Head Teacher
details, school email addresses and telephone number in England where available.

Due to the amount of teacher turnaround in schools the Department does not hold Head Teacher
email information, and for this reason have supplied you with the school email address where
possible.

Pupil numbers are taken from the spring 2012 School Census collection, therefore any school
which has opened since that collection will have no figures relating to number of pupils on
role.

The Department does not hold the information you requested for educational establishments in
Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, please contact:

Scotland  [1]http://www.educationscotland.gov.uk/
