Dates of all safety inspections undertaken on the B2141 in the two years preceding 31 March 2018

Details of all defects identified on the B2141 during safety inspections in the two years preceding 31 March 2018

Details of how carriageway safety inspections are undertaken, including whether walked or driven, the speed of the inspection vehicle and the number of persons in the vehicle.
The intended frequency of carriageway safety inspections.

Details of all complaints and/or enquiries relating to the B2141 received in the two years preceding 31 March 2018 including the hierarchy classification and the road/section number.

The defect intervention criteria adopted in relation to the identification of all categories of carriageway potholes (in other words, how CDC define a pothole as requiring attention)

The time period(s) adopted between identification and repair (temporary and permanent) of all categories of carriageway defects.

Whether or not the authority has formally adopted all or part of the standards contained within the national code of practice for highways maintenance management.

Thank you for you attention to this request.

Yours faithfully,

R J Broome

Good morning,

Thank you for your enquiry, which has been forwarded to the appropriate
officers for a response. The usual timescale for a response is twenty
working days, that is by or on 18.06.18.

If for any reason the Council needs to extend this timescale you will be
notified in accordance with the relevant legislation.

Please note that in 2012 the County Council adopted a position in
principle that FoI and EIR requests to West Sussex County Council and the
Council's responses may be published on the Council's website in a
suitably anonymised form. This is in addition to the individual response
to the requestor, and in line with the Council's commitment to
transparency and open data.

Yours sincerely,

Helen Thompson.

Dear CI Group FOI,

Thank you very much for all the information provided; it is very helpful. However the records do not seem to indicate the date(s) on which repairs (temporary and/or permanent) were made; nor the details of such repairs. I assume this is because I did not expressly request the information - my apologies for that, but I assumed it would be in the inspection reports. Please could you now also provide that extra information?

Many thanks for your continued assistance.

Yours sincerely,

R J Broome
