Freedom of Information Request: Crime Statistics for Godalming & Ash Constituency

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for Reform-UK in Godalming & Ash, Surrey. I have many constituents who are extremely concerned about crime rates in our local area.

I am therefore writing to submit a Freedom of Information (FOI) request under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, seeking information regarding crime statistics for the constituency of Godalming & Ash in Surrey.

Specifically, I would like to request the following information:
1. Types of Crimes Reported: Please provide a breakdown of the different types of crimes reported in the Godalming & Ash constituency for the past five years, categorized according to the Home Office's crime classification system.
2. Crime Rates: Please provide the crime rates (number of reported crimes per 1,000 residents or any other applicable metric) for the Godalming & Ash constituency for the past five years
3. Trends Over Time: I would like information on the trends in crime rates and types of crimes reported in the Godalming & Ash constituency over the past five years, including any notable increases or decreases observed.
4. Crime-Solving Rates: Please provide data on the percentage of reported crimes in the Godalming & Ash constituency that have been solved or otherwise resolved by law enforcement authorities for the past five years
5. Domestic Crimes Broken Down by Ethnicity: I am particularly interested in obtaining data on domestic crimes (e.g., domestic violence, domestic abuse) reported in the Godalming & Ash constituency, broken down by ethnicity of the perpetrators, for the past five years

I understand that some information may be subject to exemptions under the FOI Act. However, I request that you provide as much detail as possible within the constraints of the law.
