Freedom of Information Request - Council Disrepair and Tenant Services
Dear Wyre Borough Council,
I am making this request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding spending on disrepair claims and tenant services from 1st November 2023 to 1st November 2024.
Please provide the following information:
1. Total expenditure by the council on legal disrepair claims during this period.
2. The total compensation paid directly to tenants living in disrepair.
3. A monthly breakdown of tenant boiler breakdown reports and repairs for:
- November 2023
- December 2023
- January 2024
- February 2024
4. The average wait time for addressing a boiler breakdown from the time of the initial report to full resolution during each of these months.
If you categorise boiler issues or disrepair claims differently within your data, please include definitions or clarifications to help interpret these figures.
If full data is not available, please provide what is accessible and a timeline for the missing information.
Thank you for your time and attention to this request.
Yours faithfully,
Sophie Lucas
[1]Wyre Council
Thank you for your request.
I am writing to advise you that, following a search of our paper and
electronic records, I have established that the information you
requested is not held by this Council.
The Council transferred all its houses to Wyre Housing Association,
which is a separate organisation independent of the Council.
Wyre Housing Association is now part of the Regenda Group. If you have
any questions about housing or tenancy matters you can contact the
Housing Association using the link below:
Three councils and six housing organisations have joined together to
create a simpler application system. Previously separate applications
had to be made to each organisation, but now those seeking a new home in
the area will have to fill in just one application form to register
their interest, it replaces all the organisations' existing housing
application systems in the Fylde coast area.
