Thank you for your request for information about byelaws and policies the
recreational use of drones within the local authority.  Your request was
received by the Information Rights Team on 07 March 2024.  This is being
dealt with under the terms of the appropriate Information Rights
legislation.

Response: We do not have any byelaws specific to flying a drone.

Response: We are not aware of any policies on the subject of drones. It
should be noted that Article 20 of the Pleasure Grounds and Open Spaces
Byelaws (attached) provides that ‘A person shall not in [a] pleasure
ground wilfully obstruct, disturb, interrupt or annoy any other person in
the use of the pleasure ground….’
