Dear Herefordshire Council,
We are writing to make an information request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. We seek information regarding your authority's regulations on the recreational use of drones from land under your jurisdiction.
1. Do you have any byelaws specifically relating to the recreational use of drones from your land? If yes, please provide:
a) The date(s) of these byelaws.
b) A digital copy of the byelaw(s) or a link to where these can be found on your website.
2. In the absence of specific byelaws, do you have any policies relating to the recreational use of drones from your land? If yes, please provide:
a) The date(s) of these policies.

Thank you for your request for information received on 7th March.
Your request is being considered and will be processed by 9th April within
the statutory timescale of 20 working days as required by the Freedom of
Information Act 2000. On occasion we may need to extend this deadline; we
will inform you if this is likely.
There may be some instances where we need to contact you in order to
clarify your request to ensure we provide you with the information you
require. If that is the case we will not be able to process your request
further until clarification has been received.
For your information, the Act defines a number of exemptions that may
prevent release of some, or all, of the information you have requested.
You will be informed if this is the case and given details of your right
to appe al.
If the information you requested contains reference to a third party then
they may need to be consulted prior to a decision being taken on whether
or not to release the information to you.
In some cases, there may be a fee payable for this information to cover
disbursement costs. This will be considered and you will be informed if a
fee is payable.
