Please accept our sincere apologies that you have not received a response to your FOI/EIR request. We note that you should have received a response on 8th April 2024. By way of explanation, Uttlesford District Council operates the devolved approach when dealing with requests for information we receive. This means that once the request is initially received by the FOI Team the request will then be forwarded onto the respective service area so that a suitable response can be supplied. This devolved approach ensures that officers who have the expert knowledge of their particular area can provide the necessary response.
Each service area has an appointed FOI liaison officer who is responsible for consulting with their individual teams and co-ordinating the responses from their service so that you receive your response on time. Other officers within the respective service with knowledge of the information sought in each case are then tasked with dealing with your individual request and are responsible for providing you with an update should there be any expected/unexpected delays and to give you the reasons why.
