Dear Mr Turner-Mitchell

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000

Thank you for your request received on 18 May 2020 relating to information about summons/liability notices for business rates.

As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic staff at Rother District Council are following Government issued advice and homeworking where possible.

Whilst homeworking will allow staff to continue to carry out some of their duties, it is not a perfect solution. As a result, and factoring in possible sickness and restrictions on those self-isolating and social distancing, there will be an impact on the level of service we can provide.

Every effort will be made to respond to Freedom of Information/Environmental Information Regulation request within the prescribed timescale but this may not be possible in all instances.
