Freedom of Information regarding the cost of the Annual National Conference May 2017 & May 2018

The request was refused by Charity Commission for England and Wales.

Julie Pritchard

Dear Charity Commission for England and Wales,

the Royal British Legion hold an annual National Conference as per their Royal Charter and the cost of this is borne by the Royal British Legion. The National Conference Committee make several visits to locations chosen for National Conference the cost of which is paid by the Charity.

Can I have a full breakdown of how much the conference costs the charity annually specifically For May 2016, May 2017 & May 2018

How much of the over all spend refers to branch delegates and how much refers to the Conference Committee costs (including all the planning costs claimed by Conference Committee)

This information is not available in the annual report that is published at National Confetrence

Yours faithfully,

Julie Pritchard
