Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to make a formal request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I kindly request that you provide me with the following information regarding the job evaluation and grading processes used by Ark Schools to determine the Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) or Leadership Pay Scale allocated to leadership roles within the schools:

1. Details of the job evaluation process employed by Ark Schools to assess the value and responsibilities associated with leadership roles within the schools.

2. Information on the grading process utilized by Ark Schools to assign TLR or Leadership Pay Scales to specific positions within the schools.

3. Any criteria, guidelines, or documents used to determine the allocation of TLR or Leadership Pay Scales, including any frameworks, policies, or procedures.

4. Documentation describing how Ark Schools ensures parity is established and maintained between schools within the trust for work that is the same, similar, equivalent, or of equal value.

5. Any policies, protocols, or measures in place to address and resolve disputes or challenges related to TLR or Leadership Pay Scale allocations and parity maintenance.

6. Please provide details on where existing staff can access the items referenced in points 1 to 5, including any specific locations, websites, or internal systems.

Please provide the requested information in electronic format, preferably via email, within 20 working days as specified by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. If any of the requested information is exempt from disclosure, please provide a written explanation for the refusal, citing the specific exemption clause(s) under which the information falls.

Adding here to ensure the audit trail includes all of the points requested in my first FOI

1. The job titles of teachers leading the Sixth Form in each school within the Ark Multi Academy Trust.

2. The pay range for teachers leading the Sixth Form in each school. Please provide details of the minimum and maximum salary range or any applicable salary bands for each school.

3. The job title of the line manager responsible for overseeing teachers leading the Sixth Form in each school.
