Dear Ms Duffin

Your request will be dealt with under the terms of the Freedom of
Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

On 1 April 2020 the Scottish Parliament passed emergency legislation in
response to the coronavirus Covid-19 pandemic
([1]http://www.itspublicknowledge.info/home/... ).

The [2]Coronavirus (Scotland) Bill contains a number of temporary
amendments to the operation of freedom of information (FOI) law in
Scotland. These amendments mainly relate to the timescales within which
Scottish public authorities must respond to FOI requests.

In summary, these amendments will mean that, for a temporary period:

Ø  The maximum timescale within which Scottish public authorities must
respond to requests is extended from 20 to 60 working days

NHS Lothian’s policy on Freedom of Information requires all requests to be
collated and responded to from the offices of Lothian NHS Board at
Waverley Gate, 2-4 Waterloo Place, Edinburgh EH1 3EG.

We will therefore be required to send you a formal response to your
request within 60 working days of receipt of your request (business
hours).

In the meantime if you have any queries about the way in which your
request will be handled please contact me at the address below.

Kind Regards,

Katerina
