I would be most grateful if you would provide me, under the Freedom of Information Act, details in respect to the contract below.

• What are the contractual performance KPI's for this contract?
• Current annual volume in tonnes?
• How the material is presented?
• Suppliers who applied for inclusion on each framework/contract and were successful & not successful at the PQQ & ITT stages
• Actual spend on this contract/framework (and any sub lots), from the start of the contract to the current date
• Start date & duration of framework/contract?
• Could you please provide a copy of the service/product specification given to all bidders for when this contract was last advertised?
• Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so, the duration of the extension?
• Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are being either extended or renewed?
• Who is the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for this contract?

Freedom of Information Act 2000 - Request for Information

I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information held by the Authority under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Having consulted our Procurement department on your specific request they inform me:

• What are the contractual performance KPI's for this contract? – The KPI’s can be found within the attached ITT.
• Current annual volume in tonnes? See ITT
• How the material is presented? See ITT
• Suppliers who applied for inclusion on each framework/contract and were successful & not successful at the PQQ & ITT stages – The contract was awarded to Mid UK Recycling. We consider the names of the other bidders to be exempt from disclosure under Section 43 of the Freedom of Information Act. Section 43 of the Act permits the Council to withhold information if its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the commercial interests of
any person, including the public authority holding it.
• Actual spend on this contract/framework (and any sub lots), from the start of the contract to the current date – The contract starts on 1st April 2024 so no spend.
• Start date & duration of framework/contract? – 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2029
• Could you please provide a copy of the service/product specification given to all bidders for when this contract was last advertised? ITT attached.
• Is there an extension clause in the framework(s)/contract(s) and, if so, the duration of the extension? Two extensions of 12 months each. Total contract period 7 years.
• Has a decision been made yet on whether the framework(s)/contract(s) are being either extended or renewed? No
