Dear Department of Health (Northern Ireland),

I am writing to request all the following information which I am entitled to under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

This Freedom of Information request concerns the Department of Health’s Children’s Social Care Programme Reform Board: Fostering workstream.

1. Please provide a copy of the fostering workstream work plan, associated timescales, and any timescale updates or reviews.
2. Please provide a copy of minutes/notes of all meetings of the Fostering workstream for the period November 2023 to date.
3. Please provide a copy of all papers circulated to, tabled, or discussed at meetings of the fostering workstream for the period November 2023 to date.
4. Please provide a copy of all reports/ working papers/ presentations/ fostering strategy documents being considered by the fostering workstream from November 2023 to date.
5. Please provide a list of organisational fostering policies/ schemes/ standards documents currently under review by the fostering workstream from November 2023 to date.
6. Please provide a copy of all minutes/notes of all meetings for any sub-groups (e.g. recruitment workstream & retention workstream) for the period November 2023 to date.
7. Please provide a list of all task and finish groups established by the fostering workstream from inception to date.
8. Please provide copies of terms of reference of all task and finish groups established by the fostering workstream from inception to date.
7. Please provide a copy of all minutes/notes of all meetings for any task and finish groups established by the fostering workstream from inception to date.

I would like the above information to be provided to me as an electronic copy.

If the request is too broad or unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand under the Act you are required to advise and assist requesters. If any of the information is already in the public domain, please send it to me directly with page references or URLs when necessary.

If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance under the section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine the request.

I understand that you are required to respond to my request within 20 working days after receiving this request. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing you have received this request.

Mr Scott-McKinley,

 

Further to the email of 24^th April 2024 acknowledging receipt of your
request, I am writing to advise that unfortunately we are currently not in
a position to provide you with our response within the agreed timescales.
Our response is near completion and is currently waiting on final approval
to release at this time.

 

Barring any significant changes to the response, I would hope to have this
with you by C.O.B Friday 31^st May 2024, if not before.

 

I hope this does not cause you too much inconvenience and we appreciate
