Dear Nick Humphreys,
FOSTER PARENT FEES -
What is a 'Permanent' Fee, as opposed to a Level 3 Fee?
What do FCW/IPS stand for? How do these Fees tie in with the other Fees?
Am I correct in believing that Fees are PER CHILD?
FOSTERING ALLOWANCES TIER 3 Fees.
Why is the Fostering Allowance for 16-18 year olds in this Category HIGHER THAN the Fostering Allowance for 16-18 year olds in all other Fee Categories, i.e £224.41 as opposed to £215.74
Yours sincerely,
A Williams

Dear Nick Humphreys,
First, how do Permanent Fees tie in with Level 2 and FCW/IPS Fees?
Second - you stated that 'Fees are per child but additional Fees are paid if more than i child is placed' If Fees are per child I would have thought that the same amount was paid for every child in place.
If this isn't the case - how much is paid for 2nd, 3rd, etc children?
Yours sincerely,
A Williams
Dear a Williams
Permanent fees do not tie in with FCW/IPS; the schemes are not
connected. Level 2 is an allowance only, not a fee paid.
Half fees are paid for each subsequent child in placement

Dear Nick Humphreys,
Level 3 Fees are no longer in existence. Do 'Permanent' fees still exist? If so, what category of foster carer receives these. i.e what is the difference between the Foster Parents who receive Permanent Fees and the Foster Parents who receive FCW/IPS Fees?
Yours sincerely,
A Williams
