Fostered Children Staying Put

The request was successful.

Dear Milton Keynes Council,

How many former fostered children aged 18 do you have living with foster carers?
Of those, how many of their foster carers have the same support arrangements (financial and practical) as they did prior to the fostered young person turning 18?

How many former fostered children aged 19 do you have living with foster carers?
Of those, how many of their foster carers have the same support arrangements (financial and practical) as they did prior to the fostered young person turning 18?

Thank you.

Subject: Freedom of Information request - Fostered Children Staying Put

Dear Milton Keynes Council,

How many former fostered children aged 18 do you have living with foster
carers? Two young people are living with the same people who were their
foster carers before they turned 18.

Of those, how many of their foster carers have the same support
arrangements (financial and practical) as they did prior to the fostered
young person turning 18?

Practical support remains the same. Post 18 financial support is £200 pw.
This is £20 more than the basic fostering allowance, but the professional
fee is no longer paid.

How many former fostered children aged 19 do you have living with foster
carers? One young person is living with the same people who were their
foster carers before they turned 18.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Cann
