I request information on the following please:

- Causes for forest fires in the years 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015
- Number of forest fires in the years 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 caused by disposable BBQs
- How many logged forest fires in the years 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015
- How much spent tackling forest fires in the years 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015

Further to your request for information about forest fires, please find
attached spreadsheet. 

 

As explained, we do not record the cost of individual incidents as this is
unlikely to be accurate as an incidents may remain open for days (in case
of, for example, reignition) and therefore the time it remains open for
does not reflect the cost of the incident.

 

We do not have a category for wild fires but we do have a category for
fires that have occurred in forests/woodland. Please find file attached.

 

If you have any queries about this email please contact me within two
calendar months quoting reference 7. If you are unhappy with the service
you have received in relation to your request and wish to make a complaint
or request an review of our decision, you should write to the Complaints
Officer at the address below within 40 working days. Our complaints

If you are not content with the outcome your complaint, you may apply
directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the
