The carrying out on land for the purpose of forestry,including afforestation could you please provide me with information on how many acres the land has to be for a shed to be reasonably necessary for forestry/afforestation as there is no stipulation in the nppf the town and county planning act or the ppg so could the council provide me with the details that the land has to be so many acres and it has to be run as a business and where time limits on forestry activities

‘Provide me with the details that the land has to be so many acres and it
has to be run as a business and where time limits on forestry activities’
- It is up to the applicant to provide evidence that the area being used
is of sufficient size for the purpose they wish to use it for. There is no
specific size guidelines and each application is decided on its own
merits. The application you mention in a previous FOI was for 3.5 acres.
