Forensic Testing of NICS Personnel Records

Waiting for an internal review by Executive Office (Northern Ireland) of their handling of this request.

Dear Executive Office (Northern Ireland),
Over the last ten years, how many NICS staff Annual Performance Appraisal Reports have, following forensic testing, been found to be fraudulent?

Yours faithfully,

AIDAN QUINN

Dear Executive Office (Northern Ireland),
The response is overdue.
Why?
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Executive Office (Northern Ireland)'s handling of my FOI request 'Forensic Testing of NICS Personnel Records'.

Dear Executive Office (Northern Ireland),
Sorry to disturb you. I know you are very busy at the moment and none of us find these things easy.

The thing is that acceptance of forensic testing really is key to the attraction of investment you see.
This is true right around the globe, and N Ireland cannot afford to be left out any longer.
Integrity actually is the key to everything.

This said, all that is really needed at the moment is a rough idea of the scale of official fraud, say to the nearest ten percent.

Precise details of the actual numbers can perhaps wait, if that makes things any easier.

Forensic testing these days takes but seconds, so the actual technical effort in getting the place cleaned up is minimal.

Please do what you can . We have to start somewhere, and there is no time like the present.
If not us than who? If not now, then when? We have to be positive. When we make progress we have to shout it, loud and proud.

Yours faithfully,

AIDAN QUINN

Dear Executive Office (Northern Ireland),
Hi. As a follow-up, can can I please enquire how many fraudulent reports resulted in the victim suffering ill health or being sacked? Again if a precise figure is not available at this stage, a rough percentage figure will suffice for now.

Would it also please be possible to have the figures in writing, by landmail and signed off at appropriate level?Good Luck.

Yours faithfully,

AIDAN QUINN

Dear Executive Office (Northern Ireland),
Hey, no one wants to judge, but we seem to be at this six months now.

As follow up, has TEO undertaken any research to check if there are any other jurisdictions where the results of independent forensic testing are still not accepted? Has TEO perhaps prepared a business case for not introducing forensic testing to NICS just yet?
Can we please have a copy? Thank you.

Good Luck. With all best wishes.

Yours faithfully,

AIDAN QUINN

Dear Executive Office (Northern Ireland),
Hi, Just to let you know, the Scottish Government will shortly be involved in investigating these things. They mean well and are hugely to be trusted. You should please arrange that they are given the fullest possible help and co operation. Thank you.
In particular, please be sure to have all statistics and answers to overdue Queries to hand. It is in everyone’s interests that matters are concluded quickly and the much depleted confidence of Markets restored.

Good Luck, I wish you well.

Yours faithfully,

AIDAN QUINN

Dear Executive Office (Northern Ireland),

Hey, we're at this over seven months now.

Basic statistics, like the number of NICS staff Annual Performance Appraisal Reports that have, following forensic testing, been found to be fraudulent, is something that HR Outsourcing Contractors, and those from whom they are seeking re financing, have a right to know.

In the circumstances can I ask you please to refer yourselves to the ICO.

Good Luck. I wish you well.

Yours faithfully,

AIDAN QUINN
