OUR RESPONSE:

Section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) places two duties
on public authorities.  Unless exemptions apply, the first duty at
s1(1)(a) is to confirm or deny whether the information specified in a
request is held.  The second duty at s1(1)(b) is to disclose information
that has been confirmed as being held.  Where exemptions are relied upon
Section 17 of the FOIA requires that we provide the applicant with a
notice which: a) states that fact; b) specifies the exemptions in question
and c) state (if that would not otherwise be apparent) why the
exemption(s) applies.

The answers to question 1, 2, 3 and 4 are already available to you by
other means and is therefore exempt in accordance with Section 21 of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000. See the following link for details;

Although every effort is made to keep this information up to date more
recent information may not yet have been added to the scheme. As there is
an intention to publish this data it’s disclose is exempt until Section 22
of the act.

Whilst there is public interest in transparency and openness, hence the
publication of such information, there is no public interest in bringing
forward the publication of this information, necessitating the diversion
of resources from scheduled, equally useful and important duties.

In answer to question 5 and 6 I can confirm that no information is
recorded relevant to these questions.

If you are not satisfied with the decision applied in this case I enclose
for your attention a copy of the Constabulary's appeal procedures.

Regards,
