Dear Mr Boddington

The ICU Ford Iveco, registration number L689 GVS, came into service on 1 May 1994 and was initially based at Toddington Fire Station before moving to Leighton Buzzard where it finished its service in May 2014.

This vehicle was used as the Service Incident Command Unit and attended multiple incidents to establish a command centre to run all types of incident, including building fires, Road Traffic Collisions, flooding and severe weather related issues. One major incident that this unit was utilised at was the Yarl's Wood detention centre fire in 2002.

All documentation relating to the vehicle was passed onto the new owners, so further information may be available from them.

Kind regards
