Footpath West Av. to Parsons Rd. removal of rubbish/fence panels.

The request was successful.

Dear Redditch Borough Council,

This request is specifically about the removal of FLY TIPPED items immediately behind the green fence on the railway cutting side of the footpath.

INTRODUCTION
Several years ago, in response to a constituent complaining that this is probably the worst footpath in Central Ward, the local MP, Rachel Maclean received a letter from Susan Tasker (PA to the Chief Executive of the Council). In the fourth paragraph of that letter she states:
“ The Council remove the items they can from along the fence by removing panels …”.

This FOI request is about removing the fence panels in order to remove items of rubbish adjacent to the fence. It is not about removing rubbish in the cutting or on the steep banks of the cutting.

THE QUESTION
In each of the years: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and up to 20 Aug. this year (2021), how many times have the fence panels been removed in order to remove rubbish?

Thank you

Yours faithfully

P. Bladon
(On behalf of several local residents)
