Footpath and driveway access outside my property
Dear Lancashire County Council,
I have tried on a number of occasions to establish who owns the shareed access between myself and my neighbour. I have check both title plans and it seems that we (the home owners) do so. Please can you confirm this, prior to my intention to erect a boundary fence.

We can confirm that Lancashire County Council have adopted, and maintain
at the public expense, Tag Lane from the centre of the carriageway to the
rear of the pavement line at this location. The adoption extends into the
bell mouth to a point in line with the rear of the pavement line at
property number 426 Tag Lane and the rear of the pavement line property
number 428 Tag Lane. Lancashire County Council cannot confirm the
ownership status of the shared access beyond this point.
We hope the above is informative.
