Following up IAPT referral drop outs

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust,

I’d like to make the following FOI request:

Given that almost two thirds of all IAPT’s referrals each year never begin a course of treatment or drop out before they finish a course of treatment please inform how many of drop out referrals have been followed up between 2013 and 2022, when are they followed up and with what results.

Yours faithfully,

Paul Atkinson

Dear Requestor,

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request.

We are now in a 'Level Four' emergency situation with regard to the COVID
pandemic, therefore, please be aware that we are dealing with your
request, however, there may be delays due to the effect on our Services.

We will make every effort and are endeavouring to respond to requests
(that do not impact on COVID Information / Clinical areas / Human
Resources and Finance) within the 20 working days of receipt.

Due to these ongoing current operational pressures, there may still be
some delays if the request relates to certain other teams that are
involved heavily in Covid-19 tasks.

Please note, due to staff working from home, requests delivered by post
will not be processed before Covid-19 movement restrictions are fully
lifted.

We will continue to update you on the progress of your request should it
be delayed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding in these matters.

With thanks and kind regards,

Dear Central and North West London NHS,
Thanks for your reply, Sophie.
Is the monitoring process of the commissioners in the public domain? Are there reports on the monitoring and its findings?

Yours sincerely,

Paul Atkinson
