Hello Angela
The UK Association of National Parks has two full time and one part time
member of staff. None of us has received any formal FOI training and to
date we have not received any formal FOI requests although we do receive
around 500 enquiries from members of the public each year. The UK
Association was set up in April 2006 and we do not have records of any such
requests made to the previous association either. Of course, National Park
Authorities themselves may well receive FOI requests and it is possible that
their staff undertake specific training on this. I do not know if you have
made enquiries to them direct but if you wish to do so you will find contact
information for all the National Park Authorities on the web portal
www.nationalparks.gov.uk. You can access each individual Park website via
the drop down list on the home page.
I hope this is helpful. If I can give you any further information please do
get back in touch.
Best wishes
Cathryn
