On an individual fund by fund basis with aggregated values since inception for quarters ending 06/30/2019 ("the Information").

This request is ongoing, seeking copies of (or access to) all Records as they are filed with London Borough of Hackney Pension Fund / updates to the Information as they are filed with the London Borough of Hackney Pension Fund. I am further requesting that the Records / Information be provided to me in PDF or Excel format, if not maintained on computer files, in the same format as they are / it is currently maintained at the London Borough of Hackney Pension Fund.

I am an analyst at Bloomberg Private Equity team, responsible for providing accurate and robust analysis, ideas, and data sets on all players in the private equity industry to impact decision-making. I request the Records / Information to inform the public about matters of public concern and to contribute to the public understanding of the operations of the government.

The Council’s Response

Please find attached a spreadsheet setting out the following information
on the Hackney Pension Fund's Private Debt investments as at 30/06/2019:

* Committed capital
* Invested capital
* Distributions
* Market value

 

As both funds are still in the investment stage we cannot provide
meaningful information on the IRR or MOIC at this time. The Hackney
Pension Fund does not currently invest in private equity, close-ended real
estate

funds, infrastructure, fund of funds or hedge funds.

 

You have also requested that the Fund provide further information, as it
is filed. Under Section 1(4)(b) of the Freedom of Information Act, the
information being communicated must be information held at the time the
request was received; future information will therefore be provided only
on receipt of a new request.
