REF: 1601 Fires relating to solar panels / log burners

I acknowledge your request for information received on 4^th July 2022.

In reference to your current request for information, I’ve been asked if
you could clarify some terms used in your request, to ensure we provide
you with accurate information.

Could you please clarify what you mean by "open log fires"?

Please could you confirm if you require fires in dwellings caused by a log
burner or if you would you like us to include fires outside in the open
due to logs e.g. bonfires.

Your request for information has now been considered and I am pleased to
provide you with the following information.

•       Number of fires you have attended relating to solar / photovoltaic
panels in 2020, 2021 and 2022 to date.  I’d be grateful if you could break
this down by year.

In the last 3 years there have been 7 fires reported with reference to
"Solar panels". There have been zero with reference to "Photovoltaic".

2020 = 2

2021 = 3

2022 = 2

If you are unhappy with the way your request for information has been
