Dear FOI,

I would be grateful if you could offer me guidance into how I could best reframe the request in order to obtain as much of the information as possible, while bringing it below the cost limit.
As you may be aware, Section 16 of the FOI Code of Practice (https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio...) advises that bodies should 'provide advice and assistance, so far as it would be reasonable to expect the authority to do so' and ICO guidance (https://ico.org.uk/media/for-organisatio...) interprets this as a suggestion that the authority should provide suggestions of this nature.

Yours sincerely,

Hollie Deery

Dear Ms Deery

Thank you for your request for an internal review on12 June 2022 regarding
your request for the management structures for our Children and Adults’
social care services. We replied on 22 April 2022 with a copy of the
management structure for the Children and Families’ service. We did not
provide you with the management structure of our Adult Health and Social
Care Service. We just missed that part of your request. Despite three
checks on the response, we failed to address it in full. Thank you for
reminding us of the section 16 duty to advise and assist applicants.

We therefore uphold your complaint with our apology for the missing
information and for your having to contact us again. We will try to be
more thorough and in our reading and checking of information requests.

We are attaching the management structure to this email. We have redacted
some names under the same exemption we applied to the Children and
Families management structure.

If you remain dissatisfied with the outcome of your internal review, you
can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office. Please see
[1]https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/offi...
for further details.

Kind Regards,
